AI Gallery Organizer is an AI-powered media management app by The Stranger Labs. Its strongest feature is finding photos by person using face recognition: you choose reference faces and the app finds photos of that person among thousands of images—great for family albums, events or archives. You can name files consistently with custom naming rules (e.g. Holiday_Istanbul_2024_001.jpg). Search for a specific person and get all related photos. Move and rename hundreds or thousands of files in one go, or hide folders from the gallery app. All AI runs 100% on-device; your photos are never sent to any server.
If the app asks for internet access, it is to show ads so we can keep offering the app for free when you don’t have a premium subscription.

Lists photos and videos in the folders you choose, with preview and batch actions.
Folder-based editing
Browse your folder tree, create new folders, select files (single or multiple) and move or copy to a target folder.
Rule-based automatic naming
Define naming rules using date, time, sequence number or custom tags. The app renames selected files accordingly.
Conflict handling
When a file with the same name exists at the destination, you can overwrite, skip or save under a different name.
Gallery view and basic editing
View media as thumbnails, zoom to inspect, and select for move or rename. Basic edits like rotate and crop can be applied to selected images one by one.
How It Works
Getting started
When you open the app, storage permission is requested. After granting it, you can access media folders (e.g. DCIM, Pictures) and pick a root folder from the main screen.
Working with files
In list or gallery view you can select files (single or multiple) and move, copy, rename (by rule or manually) or delete. Deletion asks for confirmation.
Naming rules
Choose a template (e.g. IMG_YYYY-MM-DD_001) in settings or the Rename screen. The app generates new names from capture date or metadata and shows a preview before applying.
Data safety
All operations happen on your device. Files are not uploaded. We recommend backing up important data before editing. The app has no recycle bin; deleted files are removed permanently.
